Attara Kacheri is an intensely red-colored stone building surrounded by the lush green grounds of the Cubbon Park. The two-storey building features intriguing Corinthian columns oozing with Gothic Style architecture and a portrait of Sir Mark Cubbon decorating the ceiling of the Central Hall. The building was made in 1864 during the British Raj and rented to a few public offices from 1868 to 1956.
